Ah, well, I had hoped to sleep through it, but some moron two doors away (and I know the exact moron that it is LOL) decided to set off some firecrackers at midnight. So, I did a little bit of the NYC stuff, before going back to sleep. But presently watching the Rose Parade for the floats, so if I have a tradition, that's just about all of it! LOL
Happy New year! :)

Yeah, we had fireworks going off here too. I was up caring for my sick hubby and reading a romance novel.
Happy New Year!

Well it was so cold so we did not go out to see the fireworks. Stayed in, was at a friends party and then we went home and just took it easy before heading to bed.
happy new Year
We spent the evening at an Eli Young Band concert! A great way to rock in 2010! A relaxing AM at our hotel about to head down to breakfast and enjoy a Mimosa!
Happy New Year!!!
I just spent a quiet night with friends, watching all the NYE celebrations on tv. :) Boring, but nice.
Spent a quiet night reading with hubby who stayed up way past his bedtime to ring in the new year with me. We watched the ball drop on Times Square with Dick Clark, toasted in the new year with tea, and shared our fist kiss of the year - all in all - a great night!
I spent the evening with my family and at midnight we watched the fire works...
Happy New Year :)

Happy 2010! I was with my husband and son and two cats at home.
I managed to stay awake until a little after midnight. Then it was bedtime.
Hi there :)
I brought in the New Year at home with my fiance and children. The children were sleeping and the house was quiet. I was reading J.D. Robb "Imitation in Death" and hubby was playing games on Facebook lol I thought it was a perfect and peaceful way to bring in the New Year :) Happy New Year to all!!!
i was planning to read through the new year but i sleep through it--even through the noisy fireworks. i came to around 12:30 but i figured it's a lost cause and went back to sleep
I brought the New Year in reading a book or two on the computer and watching TV.
Happy New Year!
We celebrated the New Year at a friend's house...Adult PJ party! We played Just Dance on Wii! So so fun!!! We sang karaoke, dancing...had a fab time!!
Well I brought the new year in laying in bed sick. I've been fighting a cold and sore throat for a week so I wasn't up to doing anything. Didn't even read, I've got to be sick for that.
Like Linda spent the New Year Eve and so far New Years Day sick, sinus drainage has turned into a raw throat and headache and the other signs of flu, joy what a way to start 2010..
Happy New Year everyone hope this weekend turns out better for all....

I get up at 12:30 AM so I guess I brought it in while doing a lower body weight lifting session and watching ABC's New Year's show.
Happy New Year!
My house was the home of a Bad Disaster-o-rama for New Year's. That means I spent a quiet evening at home watching bad disaster movies - Beyond the Poseidon Adventure, Earthquake, Category 6 and Category 7. It was awesomely bad!
I'm such a party girl...LOL! All I did--and still am doing--is watching a David Tennant Doctor Who marathon on tv. Personally, looking at him is the best way to celebrate in my opinion.
Happy New Year Everyone!
I went out to dinner with some friends and saw the new year, at home, with some loved ones.
It was nice and quiet!

I celebrated New Years with a family dinner and then afterwards read because the neighbor next door was partying the night away. They had music on loud, set off fireworks and firecrackers even before midnight and they were yelling (they were drunk and this was even before midnight).
Hello, Elisabeth!
DH and I attended a neighbour's party. I played 6-handed euchre (it came right down to the last trick, as the score was 9-9 and we had taken 2 hands each by then), while my DH played Uno with a bunch of others. We watched Dick Clark for a little bit at midnight, kissed, laughed a ton, others ate and ate and ate (while I miraculously declined), and we went home. DH slept while I checked out blogs and emails. We all have priorities, ya know!
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Elizabeth,
This year I was a homebody. The weather was awful so I decided to stay home. I'm not a big fan of the TV countdowns so instead I joined an online chat at Romance Reviews Today to ring in the new year. I have to say it was a ton of fun. It was a great way to stay safe, but celebrate with others at the same time.
Happy New Year. We watched the ball drop on TV and then watched some DVDs.
Some friends and I got together, watched the fireworks at midnight and then we went partying until dawn.
Happy New Year!
I didn't do anything to special. Just watched a movie with my family and said 'Happy New year' when the clock struck 12 :-)
Actually last night was really fun. We took my parent's out for Chinese food, then went over to a friend's house for a quick hello and ended up staying to welcome in the new year. Lordy, we haven't stayed up that late in years, lol, and today we are just being lazy and watching movies together.
I watched telly with the bf and the doggy :)
My daughters and I had pizza, popcorn and real Coke-not Diet, LOL, and had a Harry Potter movie marathon. It was great!
Dh and I were on the computers till 10:30 and then I went down to watch TV(a couple of shows bringing in the New Year) and watched movies till after midnight.
Happy New Year.
I watched some fireworks and read till I could read no more!
Happy New Year!
I spent the midnight hour blogging on a live chat site for the 1st time and I had a ball....only wish I could remember what I said and what time I went to bed???? Hehehe.
Happy New Year to All!!!
I didn't have much of a choice, like others I was kept up into the early morning hours by people on the street celebrating.
Happy New Year, Elisabeth!
I decided to stay home this year but partied at a chat online with some reading friends, where we talked about books, hot hunks and whatever, and watched the ball drop in NY on TV together. Was fun.
Happy New Year Elisabeth
We had an awesome dinner cooked by hubby. My son went to my sister's house close by - my son & nephew are the same age & nephew was having a party. Hubby & I stayed home & watched Star Trek - awesome movie. Called everyone at midnight.
for me i hung out and watched a couple horror flicks and rang in the new year with my neice and my fiance nothing special i drank some mt dew and relaxed
We sent our daughter and husband out of town for New Year's Eve and Day and kept our grandson who is 11. We watched Eragon and the pre-midnight shows. My husband didn't make it to midnight (he seldom does since he gets up for work at 4 AM). When they dropped the ball in Time Square, I toasted my grandson with sparkling cider, gave him a kiss and sent him to bed. I'd forgotten how literal kids are. He kept asking me why they were dropping a ball made of crystal and just where were they going to drop it.
Hope everyone has a great 2010!
Spent a quiet night at home with a book, just getting over a winter cold and really dont care for accident risk by going out on New Years. Watched some from NYC though.
in bed wiht wine and seacreat on tv
happy new year

Chatting with friends online and fireworks! Happy New Year. :)
I spent the evening with my family, had a great dinner and watched the fireworks.
Played euchre with friends and went outside to watch fireworks at midnight!
We welcomed the new year with friends, catching up on last season's episodes of Top Chef! :) It was great fun, since we don't get to see our friends too often, and we all enjoy food together :D
Happy new year!

I rang in the new year with my BFFs, drank bubbly, had homemade lemon bars and laughed/gossiped/chatted into the wee hours.
Happy 2010!
