Happy New Year!

What's the best way to ring in the New Year? How about with some books! Today I think we'll make this easy. Simply tell me how you celebrated the dawn of 2010 to be entered. Winner gets the choice of the following:

STOLEN SEDUCTION
STOLEN HEAT
STOLEN FURY
HARD TO HOLD by Stephanie Tyler
THE DANGEROUS BOOK FOR DEMON SLAYERS by Angie Fox
SKIN GAME by AVA GRAY

Ah, well, I had hoped to sleep through it, but some moron two doors away (and I know the exact moron that it is LOL) decided to set off some firecrackers at midnight. So, I did a little bit of the NYC stuff, before going back to sleep. But presently watching the Rose Parade for the floats, so if I have a tradition, that's just about all of it! LOL

Happy New year! :)

Well it was so cold so we did not go out to see the fireworks. Stayed in, was at a friends party and then we went home and just took it easy before heading to bed.

We spent the evening at an Eli Young Band concert! A great way to rock in 2010! A relaxing AM at our hotel about to head down to breakfast and enjoy a Mimosa!

Happy New Year!!!

Spent a quiet night reading with hubby who stayed up way past his bedtime to ring in the new year with me. We watched the ball drop on Times Square with Dick Clark, toasted in the new year with tea, and shared our fist kiss of the year - all in all - a great night!

Hi there :)

I brought in the New Year at home with my fiance and children. The children were sleeping and the house was quiet. I was reading J.D. Robb "Imitation in Death" and hubby was playing games on Facebook lol I thought it was a perfect and peaceful way to bring in the New Year :) Happy New Year to all!!!

Well I brought the new year in laying in bed sick. I've been fighting a cold and sore throat for a week so I wasn't up to doing anything. Didn't even read, I've got to be sick for that.

Like Linda spent the New Year Eve and so far New Years Day sick, sinus drainage has turned into a raw throat and headache and the other signs of flu, joy what a way to start 2010..

Happy New Year everyone hope this weekend turns out better for all....

Happy New Year!

My house was the home of a Bad Disaster-o-rama for New Year's. That means I spent a quiet evening at home watching bad disaster movies - Beyond the Poseidon Adventure, Earthquake, Category 6 and Category 7. It was awesomely bad!

I'm such a party girl...LOL! All I did--and still am doing--is watching a David Tennant Doctor Who marathon on tv. Personally, looking at him is the best way to celebrate in my opinion.

Happy New Year Everyone!

I went out to dinner with some friends and saw the new year, at home, with some loved ones.

It was nice and quiet!

I celebrated New Years with a family dinner and then afterwards read because the neighbor next door was partying the night away. They had music on loud, set off fireworks and firecrackers even before midnight and they were yelling (they were drunk and this was even before midnight).

Hello, Elisabeth!
DH and I attended a neighbour's party. I played 6-handed euchre (it came right down to the last trick, as the score was 9-9 and we had taken 2 hands each by then), while my DH played Uno with a bunch of others. We watched Dick Clark for a little bit at midnight, kissed, laughed a ton, others ate and ate and ate (while I miraculously declined), and we went home. DH slept while I checked out blogs and emails. We all have priorities, ya know!
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Elizabeth,

This year I was a homebody. The weather was awful so I decided to stay home. I'm not a big fan of the TV countdowns so instead I joined an online chat at Romance Reviews Today to ring in the new year. I have to say it was a ton of fun. It was a great way to stay safe, but celebrate with others at the same time.

Actually last night was really fun. We took my parent's out for Chinese food, then went over to a friend's house for a quick hello and ended up staying to welcome in the new year. Lordy, we haven't stayed up that late in years, lol, and today we are just being lazy and watching movies together.

Happy New Year, Elisabeth!

I decided to stay home this year but partied at a chat online with some reading friends, where we talked about books, hot hunks and whatever, and watched the ball drop in NY on TV together. Was fun.

We sent our daughter and husband out of town for New Year's Eve and Day and kept our grandson who is 11. We watched Eragon and the pre-midnight shows. My husband didn't make it to midnight (he seldom does since he gets up for work at 4 AM). When they dropped the ball in Time Square, I toasted my grandson with sparkling cider, gave him a kiss and sent him to bed. I'd forgotten how literal kids are. He kept asking me why they were dropping a ball made of crystal and just where were they going to drop it.
Hope everyone has a great 2010!
