So It's Finally December...
...and my nerves are already shot!
Okay, not quite, but almost. 30 days until Stolen Fury releases. The countdown is on. I'm nervous, excited, scared, anxious...my emotions on my debut releasing December 30th run the gamut. Last week I discovered Amazon put up the "look inside" link for my book. You can click the book and read random pages - the way it will be printed. That gave me a little thrill...and more anxiety. Eek! It's nearly out! The great reviews keep rolling in, and as word spreads I'm getting more and more reader emails asking about the book. The best one so far was from a man named Matt Naughton who wanted to know where he could buy the book early as a Christmas gift for his wife, Elizabeth. I thought that was pretty sweet. Unfortunately, I was no help as the book doesn't release until after Christmas, but I'm hoping he buys it anyway - New Year's Gift, Valentines Day...the possibilities are endless!!!
My launch party is pretty much set. Wednesday January 7th from 6-9 pm at The Blue Pepper in downtown Salem, OR. If you happen to be in the area, I'd love to see you at the party. It's open to the public. I'll post more info about it as we get closer to the date. And my December contest in anticipation of my release will go live hopefully later this week. I have a fun one in store, so be sure to check back.
Other than stressing and trying not to be too anxious, my plans for the next month include promo-ing as much as possible for my release and enjoying the holidays (good luck!). Right now I'm waiting (not so patiently) for my author copies, for the cover of my August book - STOLEN HEAT - and for word STOLEN FURY is shipping (several of my author friends who had November and early Dec. releases saw their books shipping up to two weeks early). I'm also waiting (again, not patiently at all) for my laptop to come back from service. Luckily the DH is on disability leave right now so I have access to his, but I want mine back! In the meantime, I'll be busily writing up blogs for my blog tour, which kicks off December 27th at The Bradford Bunch. Other appearances include (but are not limited to):

Happy Release Month! Sounds like you'll have a grand ol' time! Enjoy EVERY SINGLE MINUTE! (And I CANNOT WAIT for the actual release!)
