Update

Not gone. Just editing. I'm working hard to try to get this thing out the door by Friday. Because of that, I've taken a mini-break on the 1000 words per day thing, only because I'm writing/editing that much and more and really, sending this puppy away is more important.

How's everyone else doing on their challenge? And what's new with you?

Heck, I don't feel so bad now!

I'm finally back in the swing -- fell off a few days ago, scraped my knees, but I've got my butt back in that little leather seat (that sounds a little strange).

Anyway, I've tackled 3224 words in the last 6 days. Not the 1000/day we're shooting for, but I'm still going...like the Energizer Bunny.

I'm going to try and start hitting that 1000 mark again.

How's everyone else doing?

LOL, J. I don't feel so bad either. I looked at my tally and after 2 full weeks of the challenge, I'd written 30,508 NEW words. That's way more than 1000 per day, so this little break to finish editing DTM isn't going to hurt me. Hopefully I'll have it out the door tomorrow.

Way to go, you little energizer bunny. ;) Can't wait to hear how the book is going

I'm stopping short of making voodoo dolls of the two of you. What have you gotten me into???? I've been working on a new suspense for this challenge and yes, I've been making my 100 + words a day, BUT I keep writing myself into a hole! I start a scene and then end up in the middle of the SAME CONVERSATION! No matter how I start and what i plan to do, the scene goes back to the same thing. UGH! It's like being in a Twilight Zone episode!
