Recap & Word Count Update

The game last night was a blast. I love football in the fall - esp. September games (or late Aug) when the weather is superb. And it didn't hurt the Beavs won. ;) The newest phase of the Reser Stadium renovation is awesome. And the new scoreboard was phenomenal. DH got me a new vest too at the fan shop, and I wish I could post a pic. It's so cool! Reversible - black on one side, orange on the other, puffy, absolutely perfect for the fall with a long-sleeved shirt underneath. I love it!

Okay, on to the word count. Because we went to the game yesterday and out with friends for dinner beforehand, I didn't blow out the word count like I did on Wed. Only 1338 words total. But I met my goal of 1000 words, it was all in the WIP (LOL...not the new proposal) and I finished the scene I wanted to finish. Woohoo!

Next up is a very emotional revelation/love scene that'll probably zap me. Hoping to get through it slowly but steadily this weekend as I get my 1000-words in.

How did you do yesterday?

Great job on the word count. I've found some days are definitely harder to get them in than others. Like today for me. I'll just be squeeking out my 1000k.

Since I'm not starting until Tuesday, I can't give you a word count, but I edited 90 pages. Does that count?

And I am getting excited to start my WIP!! Aileen and Ethan are always in my thoughts asking when they get to come out and play. LOL

My dh was invited to the OSU game by a season ticket holder, but since they wouldn't get home until 2 am and he has to be to work by 7am he opted not to go this time, plus we had hoped to get things done around here, but the rain didn't cooperate.

Cool, Paty, you're going to join us?

I've written about 300 words and it's 9:15. I'd better get my butt in gear.

True, J, but you know what? Today I normally would have stopped but I hit the word count and realized I had 600. I figured I could do 400 more, and once I got going, I ended up writin 1700+ words. There is something to be said for checking where you're at and not giving up. (A little competition never hurt either. LOL)

Paty, traffic getting out of Corvallis was horrendous. We didn't get hom until well after 1AM and we're only 45 minutes from OSU on a normal day. Your DH probably would have been way later than 2AM.

And yeah, editing 90 pgs totally counts! But I'll be on you come Tuesday. ;)
