I'm There
Not THERE, but there.
You know the place. Stage Two, Chapter Fifteen of Elisabeth's Dreaded Manuscript Stages. The point where I am sure I will never get all these plot points outlined on my notebook into my book. The point where my eyebrows are in jeopardy. The point where I'm willing to hog-tie one more child that interrupts me when I'm in the flow.
*sigh*
And yet I keep plugging along because - finally - the end is in sight.
How's your writing coming this week? And what stage are you at?

LOL, I know that place. It's not fun and somehow it's worse than being at the beginning of an MS.
Hogtie a child? Oh, yeah. I wanted to last week when I was working on writing a NEW last chapter for HOTM. I just wanted everyone to go away and leave me alone . .. and of course they wouldn't.
Keep plugging away. You can do it!
I see the end but I just can't quite get there... I have two possibly three more chapters and I'll be at the end of the first draft of OIP, but I received the galley for Perfectly Good Nanny yesterday, so I have to drop Maeve and Zeke and proof the galley.
Don't pluck all your eyebrows or you won't look good when you accept your Golden Heart award! ;)
Sympathy. I've been at that point for the last 4 months or so. All because I DIDN'T keep plugging on. So you keep going---don't loose momentum--and eyebrows grow back!!
Right now, I'm at the almost-ready-to-restart stage. Which is nice. Another day or so of exorcising the teaching beast may do it.
Lin - they never listen to what *we* want.
And yeah. I think this point is harder than the beginning of a ms. Though I have issues there, too. LOL
LOL, Paty. Good point. I'll have to find some other OCD trait until Nationals is over - just in case. ;)
Woohoo, Wavy! Yeah for summer break, eh?
Hope things are going better now, Elisabeth. I'm 60 pages from the end, but I have visitors at the moment, so it is hard going. I still hope to be finished by National, though :) .
