I'm Not Dead...

...I just feel like it.

Sick baby, the painting project from hell, and school winding down. Those are a few of the things occupying my time.

Writing? Shee-yeah, right. I wish. Plot is simmering. Characters are getting restless. The first scene is all but shooting out of my fingertips.

And yet I paint.

And chase kids.

And do laundry.

And plan.

Will get back to writing soon.

I must. Before I go insane.

Wow. Busy girl. HOw does your yard look? I am actually making progress. Of course, now that it rained again all the weeds will probably grow back before I can spread the barkdust!

Sorry life is hectic right now :-( Just remember, in less than six weeks you'll have a week to escape it all. Atlanta here we come!

Piper - yes, tsunami is an accurate description. Holy crap. It's not even the first "official" day of summer vacation and I'm ready to ship them off to boarding school.

Teri - my yard looks great. :) All I have left to do is build my slate walkway. Lots of time to get that done though. Glad to hear you're making progress on yours!

And Lisa - woohoo! 6 weeks seems so soon! Looking forward to it!

You have kids home for the summer and I have my day job picking up speed.

I thought maybe you were banging out the next book. Hopefully you can get back to it soon.
