Back in the Land of the Living

Yes, I'm still alive. I've been out with the flu. Not fun. Can't remember the last time I was so sick.

So, I didn't get much writing done the past week, but once I was able to sit up straight without my head feeling like it was going to roll right off my body, I did do a little web surfing and came across a great quote. Since I have no exciting news to report, I'm going to leave you with this one special gem. (And my apologies - for the life of me, I can't remember who said it or where it came from, but it's so fitting.) Enjoy.

"The difference between a published author and an unpublished author is the published author never took no for an answer."

I like the qoute, I have something kind of like that: A professional writer is an amateur who didn't quit. Richard Bach.

Guess that sums up what I'm aiming for! Glad you are back with the living. I missed your blogs!

I hope you get to feeling better! Sitting up without wanting to pass out is a good step :-)

The difference between a published author and an unpublished author must be that the published author is:
1. A male
2. Age 2 to 13 (and lives in my house.)

I swear my sons could get anyone published. They don't understand the word "No" either.

If you want them to argue your case until the publishing house gives in and publishes you, let me know and I'll let you borrow them. Anytime!

Spring break is not for the weak.

So glad to hear that you're getting healthy again. I was worried about you. ;)

There's a lot of nasty things going around. Sorry you caught one of them!
