It Happened...

...for like an hour. There was blue sky. And sun. And LIGHT. And the world seemed right.

And then the clouds came. And the sky grew dark. And the rain returned once more.

*sigh*

But there was that one moment of clarity...

It was amazing wasn't it? I was in the car when it happened. My daughter and I turned our faces up to the sun like sunflowers. We held our hands up, reaching for it. A tiny shot of euphoria drenched our souls... and then it was gone, as quickly as it had come. But the memory of it will get me through the next couple weeks of downpours...
