A Night In The Life...

Took the gremlins to see Zorro last night. I won't bore you with a crit of the movie, but I will share one thing. *sigh* Antonio. It's just so not fair that men get better and better looking as they age. I could sit and listen to his accent all day and never tire of it. Of course, Gremlin #1 (who is 6) said, "Ew! Mommy has a crush on Zorro!" *sigh, again* Yes, dear. She does. The DH just rolled his eyes and shook his head. (And didn't say a thing because he got to watch Catherine Zeta-Jones in all her busting-out glory.)

However, for all the action of the movie (and the gremlins both thought all that icky kissing was just too gross to even watch), the highlight had to be when Gremlin #2 (who is 3) leaned close to my ear during the climax of the movie and said, "Mommy. Mommy. Smell my shoe," and then proceeded to shove his smelly-ass tennis shoe in my face. Let me tell you, it pulled me right out of that sensual haze I'd drifted into watching Antonio save the world on the big screen. What is with boys?????? I just couldn't watch when Gremlin #2 sat back in his seat and stuck his own nose in his shoe and smiled.

Ew. I'm afraid Antonio might forever be ruined by the memory of that shoe.

LOL, boys are just so...well...BOY *g

I rarely go to movies at the theatre...but I think I'll make an exception for this one...who wants to wait to see Antonio on the TV screen when you can see him on the BIG screen???

Antonio is very sexy and he does have a nice accent.
But my favorite has to be Gerard Butler.

If you haven't seen Dear Frankie or Phantom of the Opera you're really missing out.

His personal interviews are fun to watch too. I love that Scottish Brogue of his. It melts me. Ha, what am I saying? It practically melts my clothes off! (Which the DH thinks is just fine. lol)

My kids want to see Zorro too but we are waiting to rent it. With a family of 7 it just about bankrupts us to go to the theatre. And snacks. Whatever. Maybe if I was Mrs. Trump I could afford those.

My DH likes Catherine Zeta-Jones too so I guess they did do a great service to men and women teaming Antonio and Catherine. She's quite beautiful. I wish I would have been in the same line she was when they passed out bodies and faces dang it!

Boys and kids have a way of putting a twist on your life!
I'll have to rent the movie when it comes out since I can't get my DH to a theatre and I don't like going alone.

But any hunky guy would be better on a big screen than a small one!

Antonio can talk all night to me if he wants. And I don't even have to understand a word he says. Who cares? LOL!

ROFLMAO! Ahh the joys of motherhood. I have two older boys and my youngest is a girl, but I swear she's just as bad if not worse than her brothers!

Yeah, agreed on Antonio. He gets better looking every year. And not only is he sexy, but I've heard he is a great husband and dad as well. I read today that he doesn't want his wife to get plastic surgery because he loves her just the way she is.
